A Year of Change for the Lancashire Healthy Schools Programme
|The Lancashire Healthy Schools Team has been working to improve the Lancashire Programme by integrating the model with the new national Healthy Schools Enhancement Model and linking together the related issues currently impacting on school improvement.
During 2009 – 2010, the Programme will be in a period of transition. It will continue to support the last remaining schools to achieve National Healthy School Status. The main focus for the Programme will be the transition to the new model as it is finalised and aligned with the forthcoming national developments, including the new Ofsted framework, 21st Century School, 2020 One Children's Workforce, healthy Lives brighter Futures and the Healthy Child Programme.
